Darlene's Home Support Services Inc. is a dynamic and caring organization dedicated to providing exceptional support services to individuals in need. We are currently seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team as a Personal Support Worker.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Your primary responsibilities will include administering bedside and personal care, assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package also includes mileage paid.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent;
  • A Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent;
  • CPR Certification;
  • First Aid Certification;
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle (for rural areas);
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Punctuality and reliability;
  • Flexibility and adaptability;
  • Client-focused approach;
  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
