Electrical ICI Project Director

The Electrical ICI Project Director will lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects from start to finish. The role requires excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate assigned projects from start to finish in accordance with schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Provide leadership for assigned project in regards to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performance.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards as per company policy and contract specifications.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders including Black & McDonald team members, clients, consultants, joint venture partners, trades, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and the community.
  • Plan, prepare, monitor, and manage construction schedule and milestones.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable standards – ie. HSE regulations, company policies and procedures, and contract requirements.
Requirements
  • An education in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a red seal electrical journeyperson.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in the unionized construction company working on large-scale electrical ICI projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of construction estimation, scheduling, planning, and execution, project design interpretation, established division practices, procedures, and techniques, business operations processes, organization, and time management.
  • Intermediate user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project), Accubid, JD Edwards, or an Oracle-based ERP system.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
