Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you will directly support the implementation and sustainment of AbCellera's Business Applications, collaborating with business process owners, IT professionals, and cross-functional analysts to meet the data needs across the organization.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Configuring and maintaining our business applications, including ERP (SAP S/4HANA), Procurement (Coupa), Integration (Boomi), and Planning/Forecasting (SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Partnering with IT & business teams to design, implement, and integrate new capabilities and functionality within our Business Applications suite
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, evaluating and driving improvements to business-critical processes and data through our cross-functional architecture group
  • Embedding into cross-functional project teams as a technical expert to support the full lifecycle of software implementation
  • Partnering with business data owners to investigate and remediate data quality issues; taking ownership for process and system improvements to prevent repeat events
  • Planning, testing, and executing system updates to maintain system availability and enable new capabilities
  • Collaborating with audit & quality teams to evaluate, test, and maintain business applications to meet our compliance needs
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A proven ability to thrive in uncertain environments, adapt to shifting project priorities, and find innovative solutions for business requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, Software Developer, or in a related role, plus a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics)
  • Demonstrated technical experience configuring and maintaining SAP S4/HANA for Finance and/or Manufacturing; experience supporting and maintaining other SAP products, such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Signavio would be desirable
  • Significant experience working cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment, effectively communicating with stakeholders, setting clear expectations, and achieving progress
  • Evaluation, documentation, and testing experience of business requirements against newly developed features and capabilities
  • Previous experience or interest in the Biotechnology, Pharma, or Life Sciences industries; experience with or exposure to a GMP or SOX regulated organization would be an asset
  • Familiarity or previous experience developing or maintaining application integrations, preferably with Dell Boomi
  • Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an annual salary range of $77,800 - $97,200, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You'll also receive equity, an annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, a 6% RRSP contribution, a CAD $1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, vacation time, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits.
