Job Title: Construction Masonry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Construction Masonry Specialist to join our team at Barcelos Masonry Inc. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Installation: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to ensure proper construction of buildings and structures.
  • Veneer Facing: Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a decorative veneer facing on buildings and structures.
  • Prefabricated Units: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units as per blueprints and specifications.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as it involves heavy lifting, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry construction.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.

  • Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week.
