Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at AAREAL GROUP INC. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, measuring weight, and performing pre-operational inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
  • Perform pre-operational inspections
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
