Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Capital Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise food service staff to maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Hire and manage a team of food service staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless service.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in food service management.
  • Proven track record of success in supervising and training staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
