  • Lead the preparation and review of Annual and Quarterly Financial Statements and related notes in compliance with IFRS.
  • Oversee period and quarterly account analysis, adjusting journal entries, and reconciliations.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal divisions and external departments, ensuring timely and consistent financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 5-7 years of experience in external reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS and Ontario Securities Commission requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in FCCS and SAP as an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of delivering on time and driving for results.
  • A collaborative spirit with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
  • Enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Big 4 / Big 6 Public accounting firm experience is highly desired.
  • Experience with public company financial statements, MD&A, and technical accounting expertise (position papers and accounting policies).
