At Ether, we're shaping the future of digital assets and onboardings. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer on our Growth team, you'll be instrumental in building a best-in-class product in the rapidly growing web3 space.

Position Overview

We're looking for a seasoned engineer who thrives in solving complex problems, collaborating with a tight-knit team, and driving lasting impact. This role is based in Toronto, with 4 days of in-office work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Golang, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
  • Manage and optimize relational databases, including PostgreSQL, to guarantee data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain API services, securing them from threats while optimizing for speed and responsiveness.
  • Create visually appealing web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js, prioritizing user experience and engagement.
  • Integrate web3 technologies to enable blockchain functionalities within decentralized applications.
  • Maintain application performance, quality, and responsiveness while adhering to code standards and organization principles.
  • Collaborate with the product team to design and develop new features enhancing user experience and engagement.
What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, as well as familiarity with blockchain technologies and smart contracts (although not required). You will be working in a fast-paced environment where innovative ideas are highly valued.
