Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Prime Truck Centre Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and trailers to identify and repair any issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Component Replacement and Adjustment: Replace and adjust parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Certification and Compliance: Maintain and update certifications, licenses, and memberships related to the trade, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Area of Specialization: Develop expertise in diagnostics, brake systems, and truck-trailer repair, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Tools and Equipment: Utilize company-provided tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Experience and Education: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant certifications, such as the Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
Requirements
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
