Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role? Joy Farm Market is seeking an Operational Logistics Coordinator to join our team

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our retail service establishment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our business, from managing tasks and coordinating activities with other work units or departments to arranging maintenance and repair work.

You will also play a key role in resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for training workers in duties and policies, conducting performance reviews, and coordinating, assigning, and reviewing work.

As an Operational Logistics Coordinator, you will have a team of 3-4 people reporting to you, including shippers and receivers, transportation route and crew schedulers. You will also be responsible for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies, as well as organizing and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
