Risk Management and Compliance Officer

At Glencore, we are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management and Compliance Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a key leadership role in promoting a culture of risk management and compliance across the organization.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on risk management and compliance matters, ensuring that all aspects of our operations are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and compliance, with experience working in a similar environment.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, as well as develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as providing regular updates to senior management on risk and compliance matters.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
You should be able to think critically and strategically, with the ability to identify and prioritize potential risks and opportunities.
A strong background in law, finance, or a related field would be advantageous, as would experience working in a regulated industry.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
