Key Responsibilities

Custodial Services Staff:

  • Maintaining floors, including scrubbing, waxing, stripping, and refinishing
  • Assisting the Head Custodian with the maintenance of the building and mechanical equipment
  • Assisting with the security of the building and immediate grounds
  • Complying with health and safety programs
  • Monitoring community use of the school during shift and responding to requests for assistance
  • Moving furniture (setting up and removing furniture for school functions)
  • Removing snow

Custodial Services Assistant:

  • Performing routine light cleaning duties
  • Assisting with the security of the building
  • Complying with school health and safety programs

Requirements

Custodial Services Staff:

  • High school diploma
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Related custodial training
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Custodial Services Assistant:

  • A minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Related custodial training
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

Custodial Services Staff: $ per hour
