Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Computer Science at Thompson Rivers University.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a wide range of undergraduate courses, supervising student research and projects, and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science, including introductory and advanced courses
  • Supervise student research projects and provide guidance on academic and professional development
  • Contribute to the development of our academic programs, including curriculum design and implementation
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development activities
Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a master's degree in Computing Science or a closely related discipline, with a strong background in teaching and research in Computer Science.

They will have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and service, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Fluency in English is required, and the ability to teach undergraduate students is essential.
