Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at KFC /Taco Bell - Brantford. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredients and supplies, ensure quality control, address customer complaints, and maintain records.
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Experience: Will train.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with KFC /Taco Bell - Brantford.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
