Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner/Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, establishing delivery schedules, and sourcing materials to meet production requirements. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as experience with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in production planning or a related field, CPIM/CSCP designation, and 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintains critical material information in ERP system, places purchase orders, and analyzes, schedules, and expedites material according to ERP requirements.
  • Analyzes raw material inventory levels, sources non-strategic commodities, and prepares quotations based on price, quality, and delivery attributes.
  • Stays up-to-date on new products, materials, market conditions, and general industry trends, and communicates with suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in production planning or related field (or equivalent).
  • CPIM/CSCP designation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
