Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at B Town Carrier Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including bus drivers and dispatchers.
  • Monitor and control the movement of vehicles and personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of vehicles and equipment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure that all transportation activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation or a related field.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating transportation activities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:

The Transportation Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions and varying levels of noise.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

30-35 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
