Fabrication Shop Labourer Job Summary

Roska DBO Inc. is a leading operations company with a 28+ year track record offering expertise in production and equipment solutions on well sites and facilities. We are currently recruiting for Fabrication Shop Labourers to work out of our head office located in Grande Prairie, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in material and job preparations for Welders, Pipe Fitters, and Hydro Testing personnel.
  • Assist in bolt up and assembly of process piping, valves, and associated components.
  • Maintain and organize a clean work environment in the shop and yard.
  • Assist in maintaining Roska rental equipment, and mobile yard equipment.
  • Perform miscellaneous painting of equipment and shop areas.
  • Assist in receiving materials and equipment, completing paperwork, and advising supervisor of equipment and materials received.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Class 5 driver's license with clean drivers abstract.
  • Comprehension and compliance of all safety procedures.
  • Must have a good handle on the use of power and hand tools (drills, impacts, wrenches, etc).
  • A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative as well as accept direction.
  • Remain alert, and maintain a high level of concentration along with problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working in both a team and individual environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of long hours.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Ability and certification operating small equipment such as forklift and skid-steer would be an asset.
