Fabrication Shop Labourer

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabrication Shop Labourer to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Job Summary:

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting, hard work, and excellent teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting welders, pipe fitters, and hydro testing personnel in material and job preparations, as well as maintaining a clean work environment in the shop and yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in bolt up and assembly of process piping, valves, and associated components
  • Help maintain and organize a clean work environment in the shop and yard
  • Assist in receiving materials and equipment, completing paperwork, and advising the supervisor of equipment and materials received
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks such as painting equipment and shop areas

Requirements:

  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehension and compliance of all safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours
