Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality of our dishes and providing an excellent customer experience.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

This salary range is based on industry standards for a Lead Cook in a similar establishment. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your skills, experience, and location.

Job Description

As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and work areas to prevent accidents and promote a clean environment.
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances by following specific guidelines and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary training or experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
