Job Title: Truck and Transport Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Goodall Transolution Services Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
  • 35 hours per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
