We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Sahib Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will provide critical support to our technicians in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist technicians with tooling, equipment, and material movement
  • Support tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Large workload and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Steel-toed safety boots and ability to own necessary tools
Work Environment:
  • Permanent position with 30-50 hours per week
  • English language required
