About This Opportunity

The Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Production Facility is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities within the maintenance department, working closely with production facility members to ensure manufacturing activities are performed correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Staff, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Provide a safe work environment by promoting safety awareness and conducting regular safety crew talks.
  • Manage daily manufacturing activities, including work orders, work schedules, timesheet approvals, and employee files, ensuring daily tasks and procedures are followed safely and correctly.
  • Support the maintenance department in planning shutdown work, reviewing parts and schedules, and ensuring proper transfer of information between shifts and departments.
  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), decide on corrective measures, and implement improvements to the team.
  • Maximize fixed asset utilization rates and manage labor and operations within operating expenses (OPEX) budget.
  • Comply with all Company/Plant policies and Regulatory guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), AIB, ISO, OSHA, Quality, and Safety Standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership/supervisory experience is required.
  • Ability to work dayshift, evening shift, or night shift, and be on call as required.
  • Excellent general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), with SAP experience an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Builds and maintains strong business relationships.
  • Highly detailed problem-solving approach that comes to a solution in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet target deadlines.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written).
  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a technical red seal diploma in Electrical.
  • Preference given to applicants with PLC knowledge and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Previous work in a maintenance manufacturing environment required.
