Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at School District #5 (Southeast Kootenay). As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent communication disorders in Kindergarten to Grade 12 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning
  • Provide consultation and support to parents and caregivers
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • BC College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals certification or eligibility
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
