Automotive Body Painter

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at Assured Automotive (2017) Inc. as a key member of our collision repair team.
Key Responsibilities- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired to ensure a smooth finish.
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting to prevent overspray and ensure a precise finish.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- Mix paint, blend and match colors to achieve a perfect match.
As an Automotive Body Painter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching and kneeling.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work in a dusty, noisy and odorous environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement and reliability.
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
- English language of work.
