The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Protection will provide strategic guidance and oversight to Technology Groups and business lines regarding data protection control environment, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory services to business lines on data protection controls, engaging with Technology Groups and business lines to understand and align business requirements with data protection rulesets.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology teams to assess controls and remediation actions on the operating environment and ongoing projects.
  • Assess risk remediation controls and policies in response to changes in regulation, organizational structure, or business needs.
  • Oversee compliance on Data Protection regulatory requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of the control framework and global programs focusing on thematic issues and risk remediation.
  • Support the development of the strategy, governance, and operating model across the Data Protection domains.
  • Support implementation of a strong Data Protection culture in partnership with stakeholders across various business lines.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in science, technology, engineering, business administration.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are an asset.
  • Experience using COBIT, ITIL, NIST, or other specific industry frameworks.
  • Experience in Technology, Information/Cyber Security, IT Audit, IT Compliance, regulatory-supervision, consulting or advisory roles.
