CITY VETERINARY HOSPITAL is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and anesthesia
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Registration by a provincial or territorial, or regional association as Registered Animal Health Technologist, Registered Veterinary Technician
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
