At SSR Canadian Home Renovation, we are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing various types of flooring, including carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and underlay. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and cut flooring materials to exact specifications
  • Install flooring on floors, counter tops, and raised platforms
  • Inspect and repair damaged flooring
  • Estimate costs and materials for flooring projects
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors
Work Environment:

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work on-site with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all flooring projects are completed to the highest standards. You will work independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
