Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MacEWEN Strathroy. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is visually appealing.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or stock shortages.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and staff productivity.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Accurate: Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Client Focus: Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Reliability: Dependability and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.
