Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

AISLING BAILE INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and services.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including scheduling and coordinating contract services.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals, providing feedback and coaching to staff to improve their performance.
  • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity, and to reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a housekeeping or facilities management context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external contractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
