Executive Chef Assistant

At Stone Jug Restaurant, we are seeking a skilled Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for determining the size of food portions and costs, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Determining the size of food portions and costs
- Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies
- Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas
- Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Cleaning kitchen and work areas
- Organizing buffets and banquets
We offer a permanent position with a 30 to 60 hour workweek and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
