Job Description

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Esquimalt, BC.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is looking for a Monday - Friday career opportunity with day shifts only (no nights, no weekends), and who is ready for an exciting challenge working with an extremely unique and rewarding patient population.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat military personnel with varying levels of injury or illness.
  • Consult/advise regionally with medical authorities on the area of occupational therapy practice.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities as members of the clinical community.
  • Deliver instruction in an area of expertise to support teaching activities.
  • Support research activities that the Department has initiated or agreed to support.

Requirements

  • A Licence in good standing order with the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice.
  • A Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working as an Occupational Therapist with various orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, pre and postsurgical adult populations.
