Job Summary

OYATO FOOD INC. is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and product developments
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. You will be working in an urban area, with regular travel to trade shows, showrooms, and product design events.
