Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Tester to join our team at Emphasys Software. As a key member of our banking solutions group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial software applications.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the software industry, with a focus on banking solutions. They will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, conducting functional, regression, and performance testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking software applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate the software's quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring thorough and accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with the development team to facilitate prompt issue resolution and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the software industry, with a focus on banking solutions.
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and test automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Preferred skills: Knowledge of banking, finance and/or accounting processes or systems, SQL Database understanding able to write simple queries, API, Azure DevOps.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
