We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our waste treatment plant, ensuring efficient and safe processing of industrial waste. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze test results and instrument readings to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Complete and maintain plant logs and reports to track operations and maintenance activities
  • Assist with the installation, assembly, and repair of equipment to ensure smooth plant operations
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure safe operation
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems to optimize plant performance
  • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
  • Issue work and test permits to electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel
  • Complete and maintain station records, logs, and reports
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Assist during routine systems testing and troubleshooting
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment
