Job Title: Waste Treatment Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our waste treatment plant, ensuring efficient and safe processing of industrial waste. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze test results and instrument readings to ensure plant systems are operating within prescribed limits.
  • Complete and maintain plant logs and reports, including daily operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and ensure plant systems are operating normally.
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures, and assist during routine systems testing.
  • Issue work and test permits to electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
