About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at DB Diesel & Mobile Service Ltd. As a Welder, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Inspect and Test Work: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective fabrication processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
