About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Audit and Advisory Services to join our team at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our Actuarial Audit Team, you will be responsible for leading audit and advisory projects, providing expert guidance and support to our clients, and contributing to the development of our audit and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit and advisory projects, including planning, execution, and reporting, to ensure high-quality results and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on audit and advisory matters, including risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of our audit and advisory services, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including risk management, compliance, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our services remain relevant and effective.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in audit and advisory services, with a focus on actuarial audit and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
