Job Title: Pipe Welder

At Dependable Truck & Tank Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding pipes to complete installations on Emergency Response Vehicles and Fire Trucks. If you have experience in fitting and welding stainless steel pipes and Aluminum pipes with TIG and MIG, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weld pipes as needed to complete installation
• Use conventional and precision measuring instruments effectively
• Perform process inspection to assure quality welds
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
• Install heat exchanger not already installed with value
• Install master drain, primer control, pump shift, discharges, R&L rear and front bumper; bleeder and auto drains
• Connect lines to gauge panel

Required Skills:

• Good attention to details
• Punctual
• Ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent measuring tape skills
• Knowledge, experience, and possession of small tools hand tools such as wrenches and impact drivers
• TO BE A GOOD WELDER IN TIG AND MIG - welding test to be performed during interview
• Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed
