- Performs more than one of these following functions, Welding, Pipe fitting, Mechanic, Electrical, and Preventative maintenance planning, Purchasing, and Spare parts/Critical parts inventory management.
- Maintains facility equipment through Preventive Maintenance management systems. Assures proper preventative maintenance of all plant equipment.
- Maintains all plant equipment and systems, and participates in procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Operates a forklift when necessary, Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety checklist prior to operating.
- Determines time frames and allocation of resources for projects and follows up to ensure production goals are met, schedules all work.
- Responsible for all personnel related functions for maintenance employees, including, but not limited to, hiring, firing, and performance appraisals.
- Assures all contractor agreement forms and safety training is complete for outside contractors.
- Supervises administrative aspects of supply management. (PO’s, invoice reconciliation, record keeping, etc.)
- Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific required compliance standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Welder, Mechanic or Pipe Fitting certificate.
- Proficient in more than one of the following functions: welding, pipe fitting, mechanic, electrical, PLC troubleshooting/programming.
- 7-10 years of related experience.
- Experience as a Supervisor is preferred.
