Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Jacobson Ford Sales Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
