Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at JACOBSON FORD SALES LTD. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service

Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
