About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Pick Up Construction Ltd. as a Drywall Finisher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, and smooth out excess compound.
  • Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, with a permanent work term and 30-35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is preferred.
