About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Bravo Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to meet client specifications
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a sturdy installation
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a seamless finish
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
