About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at FATBURGER. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items in our kitchen, adhering to high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients, ensuring adequate supplies for peak periods.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, handling orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as removing kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, and previous experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork is essential, as well as reliability and the ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
  • This role involves physically demanding tasks, repetitive actions, and exposure to kitchen equipment, requiring a healthy individual who can maintain a safe and efficient work pace.
  • Fast-paced environments with heavy foot traffic and loud noises may also be encountered.
