About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the field of residential construction, with a proven track record of successfully supervising workers and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of construction professionals, including foremen, laborers, and tradespeople.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and implement project schedules, coordinate resource allocation, and ensure effective communication among team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Cost Estimation and Control: Prepare accurate cost estimates, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Health and Safety: Enforce strict health and safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and investigate any incidents or near-misses.
  • Personnel Management: Make recommendations on personnel actions, including promotions, disciplinary measures, and terminations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • At least 1 year of experience in residential construction supervision, or equivalent experience.
