Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at Simply Biscotti. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of baking personnel and kitchen staff, overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork and efficient operations
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and handling of food products, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products and optimal resource utilization
  • Train and supervise staff in various aspects of bakery operations, including requisitioning materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and merchandising activities, providing regular updates to management
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a bakery or related field, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
  • College education or equivalent, preferably in a culinary arts program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
