Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Levi's Market Mall location in Calgary, Alberta. As a Tailor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality alteration services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage basic alteration services, including hemming, patching, and repairing denim garments.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on denim care and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with store teams to educate and train on customer offerings and services.
  • Assist with selling floor and fitting room responsibilities as needed.
  • Comply with all Levi's policies and programs.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of denim industry trends and current/upcoming styles.
  • Strong knowledge of textiles and fabrics, with proven skills in sewing, tailoring, and textile repair.
  • Awareness of design and details, with excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Formal training in apparel design preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sewing/tailoring experience and a strong knowledge of jeans construction.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear, with occasional reaching, lifting, and bending.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend shifts.
