At Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office, we are committed to helping Canadians live their best lives every day. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments to ensure the smooth execution of inbound and outbound loads in the Atlantic provinces. This will involve collaborating with the Loblaw Replenishment, Outbound Operations, and carrier partners to ensure timely delivery and receipt of products into our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete order preparation functions, including load tendering and exception management
- Work with suppliers and replenishment to ensure all POs are booked for pickup 48 hours in advance
- Identify system configuration opportunities and document and act on them with stakeholders
- Appoint deliveries into Loblaw Distribution Centres
- Communicate with Replenishment, Suppliers, Scheduling, and Carriers to plan and execute loads
- Track and trace loads to ensure successful delivery and on-time arrival
- Document any challenges and report to the Transport Manager
- Exception/Rush load planning and execution
- Strong organizational skills
- College education preferred
- 1-2 years of related work experience in Transport, Supply Chain, or Warehouse
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, make decisions, and problem-solve
