Transportation Analyst

Cardinal Health Canada is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Transportation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our National Transportation team, you will play a critical role in managing all inbound and outbound analysis, creating reports, and providing analytical support to ensure cost control, service levels, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze regional transportation costs, carrier rates, and service levels on a regular basis
- Compile common carrier outbound summary reporting covering cost, performance, and compliance analytics
- Prepare month-end outbound accruals relative to freight plan while maintaining data integrity and accurate financial (G/L) allocation
- Analyze regional activities and interpret operation results to develop solutions to drive profitability and growth
- Work with regional leadership to provide guidance on optimizing transportation systems, methods, procedures, and costs
- Partner with internal customers to provide customer-focused solutions
- Collaborate with finance to process invoices, produce month-end reports, and annual budgets
- Complete regular audits of regional invoices
- Build partnerships with our freight invoice processor and shipment auditing partner
- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience in transportation or supply chain
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in a related field; CITT, SCMA, or P.Log; professional certification is considered an asset
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- The adaptability to change and reprioritize on short notice
- Solid experience in business case and data analysis
- Strong business acumen and experience working with various stakeholders across the business
- Resourceful and autonomous
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office (principally Excel and Access)
