About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaner to join our team at Innovative Facility Care Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain commercial building facilities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, including cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing.
  • Handle and report lost and found items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide basic information to customers regarding facilities and services.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
  • Criminal record check is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Repetitive tasks and physically demanding work environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to walk and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
  • Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and honesty.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language required.
  • 12 to 18 hours per week work schedule.
